Get Your Free Consultation.
Orthodontic treatment consultations are always free at Midwest Orthodontics. Just call and speak with one of our friendly customer support specialists to make your appointment. During your consultation, the orthodontist will review your overall oral health and review treatment options with you – including the most recent techniques and methods available. You can choose the treatment option that works best for you. It’s as easy as that!
Begin Your Treatment Plan.
At your first treatment appointment, we’ll take all of the necessary diagnostic images, models, records, and photographs needed to measure your progress. If you’re getting braces, this is step is known as “bonding.”
Adjustments , Care and Maintenance.
Your orthodontic treatment will be monitored by our top-tier orthodontists, who are known as the very best in their field. At each regular adjustment visit, we’ll review your clinical progress, help you with tips and suggestions for keeping your teeth clean and healthy, and encourage you to keep up the great work. We can also review some options to accelerate the speed of your treatment, and help you complete your orthodontic treatment up to 50% faster!
Celebrate! Your Treatment is Complete
Congratulations! This is the day you’ve been waiting for – your last treatment appointment. If you have braces, this is the day they come off. This is a day to celebrate all of your hard work and to admire your gorgeous smile. We want to make sure you’re able to keep your perfect grin for life. This appointment also sets the stage for the “retention” phase, which can include impressions for retainers. Your orthodontist will review with you the best methods for maintaining your smile and retaining your perfect teeth for life.
Retain Your Perfect Smile for Life
For the first 6 months after active orthodontic treatment, your teeth are still actively moving. You’ll wear your retainers full-time. After that, if you have a removable retainer, you’ll only need to wear it at night. We strongly recommend keeping up your great oral hygiene routine at home, and seeing your dentist for regular check-ups to keep your teeth in tip-top shape. An orthodontic retention program is for life, too. That means that the best way to keep your smile perfect, and avoid a treatment relapse is to wear your retainers as recommended by your orthodontist, for life. If you ever lose or break your retainer, ask us about our replacement program. If you have any questions or concerns after your treatment program is complete, we are happy to see you in our office for a free consultation.
